Habitude Fitness

Check in Tuesday: Who am I? Who is Habitude Fitness?

Habitude Fitness is most definitely a place to come for all kinds of advice and encouragement on workouts and healthy living. However the tag line is, Habitude Fitness…not just fitness. There are many, many , MANY places to go that offer excellent info on all things fitness. And while I offer some of that if you stop in here, it’s not all that I value, or all that I blog about. Let me try to sum it up for you…

It’s no secret that I love fitness. However, I am not really going to attract the person who is looking to get in the best shape of their life, and that’s ok with me. Fitness is a big part of who I am and it is what drives me to be better in other areas of my life. I think fitness is a gateway drug to personal development and happiness! Seriously! Don’t believe me? Just try it;) I really don’t want to just talk about butt exercises and HIIT routines. I don’t really care about your body fat percentage or inner thigh jiggle; but I do care about fitness. Fitness is something I do to be a better mom, a better friend, a better worker, and a better person! So while I love and value fitness, it is not all of who I am here. I believe that the body is our temple and by taking care of it through fitness, I am honoring my faith!
come onFaith:
My faith is the most important thing in my life. My relationship with God comes before all other relationships in my life. I am not always good at prioritizing this and am constantly learning and growing on how to become better at it. However, my faith is a big part of who I am so you will feel that from me. My faith is woven is the fabric of how I do life, how I treat others, how I make decisions, and how I spend my time.
I have always been relational, even as a kid. My family is second on the top of my list of priorities. My relationships with my husband and daughter will always be weighed in making any business decisions or involvement in outside activities. Together as a family we strive to keep our mission simple by loving God and loving people. I love and cherish my relatives, parents, in-laws, and siblings as well. We try to set aside time for travel, video chatting, and making special memories throughout the year when we can. My family doesn’t live close, so this can be a challenge, but we do our best! I also love to have meaningful friendships, love on people, and make new friends. My element is having people over to my house and creating opportunities to just sit and talk, laugh, and get to know each other better. (Oh, and eat!:) A huge part of who I am is seen in me getting to know people, investing in their story, and coming along side them. My cup is full when I am able to connect with others!

So, my guess is that you value some of these things too or you wouldn’t be here! Thank you for allowing me a space to express the tops things in my life that are important to me and make me who I am. More to come!
