Man…it’s going around! There are so many people sick. Colds, flu, step throat…I am finally getting over the world’s clingiest cold. Ugh! A sore throat, aches, post nasal drip and nighttime hacking. I completely lost my voice for about 4 days. Today I finally feel pretty good. I did my first workout since getting sick, and it hurt. Getting back into the swing is always tough. Especially after sickness, fatigue, dehydration, and not eating right.
Everyone has their own home remedies for soothing the sick body. One thing that always makes me feel better is a wellness tea recipe a fitness friend gave to me years ago. If you have any sort of ache, snotty nose, or sore throat, give this a try! (Bonus, it’s actually really delicious!)
- 2 TB Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 TB honey
- 1 TB lemon juice
- Dash of cinnamon
- Mix, top the mug with hot water. Sip and feel better!
