Try it Thursday: Healthy Pizza Snack!

Maybe it’s the pregnancy (who am I kidding, of course it is!), but I feel like I could eat pizza every single day! Knowing that is NOT a good idea, I needed to come up with a healthy alternative that could satisfy this desire!

By having a few key ingredients on hand, I whipped up a lazy lunch the other day that I may just have again tomorrow…pizza snack

Easy, tasty, healthy! Throw it together, bake, and enjoy!
  • Trader Joe's 100% Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • All natural pizza sauce (homemade or your favorite store bought).
  • Fresh bell peppers sliced
  • Banana peppers
  • Spinach
  • Fresh Mozzarella slices
  • Natural cooked chicken sausage (I like the Trader Joe's brand best!)
  1. Top your tortilla with your ingredients, and load up on the veggies! Bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes or until cheese starts to bubble and brown.
  2. Slice and serve!

  • I make this all the time! If I don’t have sauce, I like to boil down a can of diced tomatoes that I have in the cabinet! So so yummy! I also like yellow cherry tomatoes on this!
