You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. -C.S. Lewis
I have two sides to me. The first side is ridiculously responsible. The thought of taking a risk or stepping outside of my comfort zone sounds not only terrifying but just plain dumb. The other side of me is a dreamer and independent thinker. I enjoy not having it all figured out, and thrive off of the unknown path. The growth and change that occur when I allow creativity, passions, and drive to guide me, take me on a journey that fuels growth and discovery that those protective actions could have never allowed.
So then-when faced with decision making, managing change and transition, goal setting and dreaming new dreams, how do I know which side will work in my favor?
Lately for me, it has been pulling from both sides of my split personality! The free-spirited dreamer within who is willing to take risk and walk in the uncomfortable places is working to balance out the conservative, timid, reasonable woman who is all too comfortable not making a move.
Today I challenge you to set a goal, dream a dream, and do so from a frame of mind that works well for you. It could be in family, in self, or in career. It could be a sensible goal, or passionate dream. Go there…wherever there is!
