Why Habitude Fitness?

A habit is, “an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary.” An attitude is, a “tendency or orientation, especially of the mind.” A habitude is, “a customary condition or character; a habit or custom.” -dictionary.com

Having a healthy habitude toward fitness requires a different way of thinking! Physical fitness and workouts are incredibly important. However, to truly develop lifelong, healthy habits and attitudes, we must focus on all six dimensions of wellness.  These dimensions are emotional, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual wellness.

I believe that when something is “off” in one dimension of my wellness, it can very easily affect the other dimensions of my life. This will start affecting my expectations, goals, vision, performance, and motivation. I have learned that it is vital for me to view each area of wellness as equally important. This has been a challenging yet positive growth area for me over the last couple of years and I am confident that the learning and growing is far from over!

This blog will cover all areas of wellness embracing that we are all in this together, doing the best we can.

I have had the privilege of getting to learn and grow (as in muscles) in the physical dimension based on things you have taught me, but I am excited to have the opportunity to learn more the other five dimensions from you! You have been an incredible trainer and have such a wonderful energy that the more I can learn from you the better!
